Growth Chart

Finishing classes, finals, papers, beginning a new internship and graduation approaching in August. Phew.

This project is a growth chart, personalized with the theme of the child's room. A woman threw a baby shower for her friend at the studio. Guests were invited to paint pieces to adorn the room. My boss suggested this idea to the customer, and she liked it, so before the party, I drew an outline on each tile..

Drawings to fit the baby's nursery theme

and we pre-fired them. When guests came they colored in the tiles and we fired them again. I strung them together with thick cotton cording and put a little bow at the top.

Finished product!

It was a fun piece to do for a group. I would love to do more.
